Design Management
In case a Client decides to contract CND for EPCM services or in case a Client contracts a Chinese Design Institute themselves to carry out construction design but likes to have an expert 3rd party review the design and make sure the design is delivered in time and with the expected quality, CND with its inhouse design team of certified design engineers is of great value to deliver such needed services. Often Chinese design institutes separate the design into trades and there is a lack of coordination between the different disciplines. Also Chinese design institutes may not provide best practice solutions and state of the art features which would enhance life cycle, energy efficiency, low maintenance, etc.. Overdimensioning is also an issue which many projects in China face. CNDs design team are experts and have a high degree of seniority. Design institutes take CND's advice seriously and carrying out design management through CND will lower design mistakes, costs and provides better overall design quality which results in a more effcient and higher quality building.
